    Schoolyard bullying will never be recognised for what it is, dealt with effectively, or even eliminated from our schools until workplace bullying of teachers is recognised for what it is, dealt with and eliminated from the management of the profession.

    As long as those who manage teachers can bully them with impunity and call the bullying something else, bullying will always be an integral part of what goes on at schools.

    Don’t tell me bullying doesn’t happen at MY school. You just don’t see it. If you indulge in it you can’t see it. It begins with the government. It can only be ended with the government. In my recent experience the government simply doesn’t want to know.
