This is a truly horrible look but it is important not to judge the teacher just yet, especially with reports that he was repeatedly stabbed with a pencil by the student in question before the fight escalated.

It’s so easy to state what should or should not have been done by the teacher concerned. The video clip really provides little light other than the incident occurred. I agree it’s not a good look. Such incidents rarely arise out of nowhere. There is always history, but speculation gains nothing.
